Help!
I am having a problem with the installation of R5A30.21. I am running a Pentium 4, 3.4G with HT on an Abit Guru AI7 motherboard. When I boot from the CD I get the splash screen and press enter. After this there is some activity between the CD and the Hard Drive but nothing appears on the monitor. I have set the BIOS to so as not to halt on any errors. The image checksum was ok and the same problem occurs with another CD from a different source computer with a different download. Also I tried installing, again with no success, a previous version R5A16 which I have had running on an older computer. However, Fedora Core 4 installs without any problems. Any Ideas as to what the problem is?

Try using the "expert testcd" options when you boot the CD and reach the initial splash. When it asks about SCSI drivers say "n" (unless you really need one of them and know it).

You're not using a funky monitor are you? Some of the LCDs need you to specify a Horz and Vert refresh rates at boot time or things get ugly.
