Hi All,

I've just upgraded to R5D1, which works great apart from one minor problem.

I have an Avermedia A777 DTV card which needs the saa7134 module to work. The module doesn't properly auto-detect the card, so on R5C7 I'd update the DVB-V4L drivers, then add the following line in /etc/modprobe.d/saa7134

Code:
options saa7134 card=85

and add the following to /etc/modules.

Code:
saa7134-dvb

This would set the card up correctly.

I've done the same thing on R5D1, which already has the updated drivers, but it doesn't seem to pick up the card options. If I remove the module then manually reload it

Code:
modprobe -r saa7134
modprobe saa7134 card=85
modprobe saa7134-dvb

It works fine. If someone could point me in the right direction to get it to pick this up, it would be much appreciated.

Incidentally, Knoppmyth and MythTV (especially R5D1) has been by far the best PVR system I've used, having tried quite a few on Windows and Linux. Kudos to everyone involved and keep up the good work!

Just in case anyone else had this problem, the card options work if the line

Code:
options saa714 card=85

is in /etc/modprobe.conf rather than /etc/modprobe.d/saa7134
