Totally new to Linux, Knoppmyth etc. I have installed Knoppmyth without a problem, except for no sound (I'll try sorting that out later!!!!), Will I be able to use this OS in the UK, to receive UK TV channnels and can someone pls advise me on the settings for a Hauppauge Nota-T pci card.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

Hi,
If, by settings, you are referring to channel scaning, it's a bit of a problem with KnoppMyth'd dvb drivers.
There is a bug apparently in the firmwear or something that hinderes channel locks. I am told, that if you do multiple scans you will *eventually* get your stations.

Answer any of your questions?

Regards

It should "just work", have you added the card in mythtv-setup?

Try reading this link below, its written for a much older version but is still valid
