I currently have a WinTV Nexus, although I would consider getting a different DVB-S card to use. I tried to install KnoppMyth with it but I do not know how to get it working (if I can). I'm not sure it is even being detected. I want to recieve free to air channels. Does anyone have information / success stories on installing DVB-S with KnoppMyth?

R5D1 comes with DVB support. So your Nexus should just work fine.

It looks like using Myth with DVB-S is not common. I was hoping for some sort of howto for doing this but I can't find one. Unfortunately I don't know enough about Linux/Myth to even know where to start. I did install KnoppMyth but I'm not sure if it is even seeing the DVB-S card. It is not showing up in the Myth config menu.
