Hi all, Pretty new to mythtv, so bear with me! I've installed knoppmyth (5B7), including mythstreamtv. I set up the stream of a recorded program (DVB-T UK recoded with Avermedia 771, works fine through mythfrontend) and everything seems to work ok. However when viewing the stream the only stream i seem to be able to view is WMV2 with windows media player; this is massively blocky and hangs after a minute of playing. I installed VLC for windows but this couldnt even play the stream DIV3 or WMV2. Mplayer does the same. I cant seem to find any guides on how to set up streaming to a windows box. I was wondering if anyone had any starting points for me to look at how to fix this. My recordings seem to be dumped to disk with a 1KB .nuv file and the recording seems to be in the .mpg file next to it. Is this normal? I've also downloaded all the codecs i can find including the DSShow filters. I'm running WinXP on the stream client. Thanks for any help! Richard |
