| Post subject: | nova-t not recognised on older mobo |
currently i have knoppmyth running in a p4 with my nova-t dvb-t card everythings ok. I then decided to try my nova-t card in an old computer, amd k6 450mhz, msi mobo . I wanted to try it as a backend with an xbox as a front end. But after installation (v.slow!!) and first boot up knoppmyth didnt recognise the nova-t card. I had pnp os set to yes in bios . The mobo has on board graphics and sound, tried moving card to different pci slots. Anyoned help please? |

If you run the command: lspci does it show up? the relevant output on my machine is: 0000:01:06.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant Winfast TV2000 XP (rev 05) 0000:01:06.2 Multimedia controller: Conexant: Unknown device 8802 (rev 05) 0000:01:06.4 Multimedia controller: Conexant: Unknown device 8804 (rev 05) |
