H people!

I currently have my system running with an upgraded MythTV to 0.20. I'm having problems with the subtitles (closed captions). They shows ok the first two or three texts, but later it doesn't changes and just stays with the last text lines for a while (maybe a minute or so) and then later it changes again, shows the lines corresponding with the audio dialogue just for stalling again and so on...

What do you think about that? Does it have a good solution?

Many thanks!!

My specs:
MythTV 0.20
Hauppauge WinTV DVB-T card

I have found that the subtitles are lost in the transcoding so they're available in programs while they're being recorded and shortly after but then they're gone when the transcoding is finished.

Sorry but, been a newbie, I don't see the relationship between a transcoding problem and my problem with LiveTV subtitles.... (without recording anything). Could you, please, clarify me?

I assume he was thinking that this was a recorded programme, possibly after it had been transcoded.
As an aside, processing though transcode will probably throw away any extra info like subtitles unless you tell it to.
Subtitles for DVB, as understand it, are a fairly recent addition to MythTV so it could be that this one the more flaky bits. It might be worthwhile to have a look at the bugtracker, to see if there any mention of this.

I've taked a look to the page you suggested. Nothing relevant there, some references, tough. After a looking I can agree with you tihs could be a problem with a recent addition to the code.

I will wait .... or code.... :)

Thanks..
