Has anyone heard anything recently about availability of dual-tuner ATSC cards, either PCI or PCIe? Like the PVR-500 but for DTV in North America. Most of what I'm finding now seems to be DVB only. I mean a real card that actually works with MythTV. No big hurry, I was just curious... |

I think the most interesting development is that dual-tuner gadget available at 9th tee: http://9thtee.com/hdhomerun.htm. It's called the "HD Homerun" and it receives up to two HD channels and streams the data to your Mythbox over the LAN. Support for it should come in an upcoming version of KnoppMyth (since it is supported by Myth 0.20 now). |
