Do you know what kernel support was added for this card? Saying you see Twinahm when the system boots, doesn't help. You need to investigate the logs.
Code:
dmesg | grep -i twinham

Remove the module, reload it, then:
Code:
dmesg  | tail

the dst was changed to support the ATSC variant (VP3250) in 2.6.18, so if you still have the card, you might try with R5E50.

I borrowed one of these cards from a friend to see if it would work with R5E50 and it will work out of the box. Just set it up like you would any other high def card (dvb/dtv). mythtv-setup sees it as a DST ATSC card.
I haven't tried the usb remote thing yet and I haven't done exhaustive testing with the card, just watched TV in mythtv with it a couple of minutes and done some dvb azaps & scans with it.

Oh and this is with 8VSB (OTA ATSC) not QAM.

Isn't this card supposed to have a regular NTSC secondary tuner as well?
