Hi All, I had a search in the forum the other day for some hints for my issue, and tried again today, but the search was not working (forum in debug mode, needing table repair). I have auto-upgraded to R5E50, and am using two Avermedia DVB-t 777 cards. In R5D1, i simply added saa7134_dvb to /etc/modules and that module was loaded at boot up. I do the same in R5E50 and the saa7134_dvb module is not loaded. Nothing in lsmod, no mention of dvb in dmesg. Once knoppmyth has started after boot, i can manually type (as root) modprobe saa7134_dvb and restart the backend, and the cards work. Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding out why saa7134_dvb is not loading (errors etc), or are the modules loaded another way in the latest knoppmyth? I'm a bit lost on the debian module procedure (what does knoppmyth use /etc/modprobe.d, /etc/modules, /etc/modutils) Any help greatly appreciated. Regards, Nathan |
