I'm trying to setup the fusion hdtv5 rt gold & pchdtv 5500 cards for sdtv or hdtv or both. I have tried setting them up as DVB and then doing the analog option to get both nstc and atsc. Also I have set them up as analog v4l just for ntsc. But I'm alittle confused due to the setting in the 1. general. It only has two choices atsc or ntsc. It seems if I set this one or the other that one dominates and will not allow the other to work when I go to scan channels in 4. input connections. Mythtv sees the cards fine, it shows their name during the 2. capture cards. I know mythtv works because I also have a pvr-150 cards that installed without a problem. One other note: I have analog cable that has qam256 unencrypted local channels, so this is why I am trying to get both (see other post http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13887
Also I do like mythknopp...this is my first working setup after many trys.
