Post subject:  Resizing DVB-T subtitles

Hi all

After hours of tweaking I've finally got a working KnoppMyth setup, but have a question.

Is it possible to scale the DVB-T subtitles, so they take up more of the screen? Is there a setting somewhere or code that can be tweaked?

I appreciate its probably not an easy one, but all help appreciated.

It's a potential killer --- I need the subtitles to be a bit bigger for Girlfriend Acceptance Factor! At the moment they're far more squashed and dull compared to the output of our Freeview box.

Cheers,

David

Wow. Sorry no one answered this before.

In http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... =subtitles the topic is discussed on how to set the subtitle font. The poster stated he set it to arial 14.

Quote:
Code:
$ tar -xjf font-arial-iso-8859-1.tar.bz2
# mkdir /home/mythtv/.mplayer/font ; cd /home/mythtv/font-arial-iso-8859-1/
# cp font-arial-14-iso-8859-1/* ../.mplayer/font/
$ cd ..
$ rm -rf font-arial-iso-8859-1
