Problems with V4L drivers.
I have installed R5F27 on my HTPC
I have one dvb Twinhan AD-TP300(3030)
The computer will not detect the dvb card, no directory /dev/dvb/

And if I try to setup the kernel.
make menuconfig

I get an error :

root@server:/usr/src/linux# make menuconfig
scripts/kconfig/mconf arch/i386/Kconfig
drivers/Kconfig:57: can't open file "drivers/media/Kconfig"
make[1]: *** [menuconfig] Error 1
make: *** [menuconfig] Error 2
root@server:/usr/src/linux#

Kconfig points at /root/v4l-dvb-i387dc197077/linux/driver/media/Kconfig
And these directory don’t exist.

It seems like the v4l drivers not exist.
Please help.

Howdy,

As root execute;

Code:
cd /usr/src
wget http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb/archive/1387dc197077.tar.bz2
tar jxvf 1387dc197077.tar.bz2
cd v4l-dvb-1387dc197077/
make kernel-links

Further reading here.

Regards,
Kirk.
