Since moving from Zap2It to Schedules Direct months ago, everything has been great except for one annoying problem in that through Firewire to a DCT-6200 box for Comcast I cannot record anything on the HD version of CBS. The channel change happens, but it doesn't record. The other HD and SD channels work fine for recording via the DCT-6200. It fails for both live TV playback and for recordings. I usually have to use plugreport to fix the firewire connection after selecting this channel. This channel was working fine before with Zap2It. Anyone seen this problem before? Where should I be looking to debug it? I'm configured with the following cards: PVR-250 HD-3000 (OTA) Firewire to DCT-6200 KnoppMyth R5E50 (I think - box at home, me at work) I really want to get this working as the OTA recording has been flaky recently due to weather conditions I think and some upcoming football games are on CBS. |

There's an indication that CBS may require that their content can't be captured over 1394: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthre ... 394&page=6 Very odd, especially since, as the avsforum member says, they don't interfere with QAM capture. |
