G'day all,

While googling the other week for an issue I read that that if you import the channel config then EIT does not work.

Now, I always import channels.conf rather than scanning since I can just get the channels I want and not have to manually add/edit each one.
Once imported I use the web FE to set the xmlids.

But, as stated above, I have read that if you do this then getting the EPG data does not work. Is this true?

BTW, I populate the EPG via the radio times website since I had problems with EIT, so maybe it is, I thought is was related to another problem.
