Anyone here had any luck getting DiSEqc working with a hauppauge satellite card ? I have a Hauppauge Wintv Nova-s plus PCI card and i'm trying to get a monoblock (which acts as a DiSEqC A/B switch) working The way the monoblock is set, the default LNB (no DiSEqC switching) is Astra19.2 and when it is switched it should pickup Hotbird.13 I know the dish is set ok and switching works as i can get both hotbird and astra channels using the Hauppauge wintv software under wiindows In linux however, both in Mythtv and using the "scan" utility in DVB-Utils, i can only get Astra channels. The monoblock will not switch to the second LNB I've seen posts that say this is a known problem and this page even contains a patch for V4L this is supposed to cure the problem http://dev.kewl.org/hauppauge/ However I have no idea what a "diff" patch is or how to apply one. or even if this is compatable witht the version of V4L inlcuded in my distribution Can somone help please ? My Mythtv setup is the latest Knoppmyth Release Thanks in advance Glen |
