| Post subject: | Anyone in Melbourne tune to S Yarra channels? |
Hi all, Does anyone using KM live near the South Yarra/Prahran repeater? It services Chapel St due to poor signal from Dandenong. The frequencies of the repeater are much higher than the regular ones. If you had any trouble tuning, can you please tell me what you did? I know it's possible to manually set the frequencies and scan only those. The problem I am having is that the two sets of channels (antenna picks up the Dandenong signal too) and will not allow me to watch TV due to the channel duplication. Has anyone had trouble scanning using KM, and if so, what did you do to fix it? I suspect I'll have to preset the scanning frequencies to either Dandenong or S.Y. Cheers, Mike |

Absolutely no-one has tuned into repeater stations in Melbourne with 5.5??? Google tells me there is a problem with myth's tuner getting to these frequencies and there's a very complicated way of correcting for it. If nobody's able to help me, I'll just have to keep plugging away until something works. Mike |

Mike, My 5.5 was an upgrade so the channels were just carried over. As I remember scanning them originally was fairly painless too so it is unlikely they come from S.Yarra. Looks like plugging away is the go. |

Problem was DVICO fusion tuner cards. Damn things don't work past about 700MHz. |
