Has anyone had any experience using a 50 foot dvi to hdmi cable? Or even a 50 foot hdmi to hdmi cable? I see that some are available on the net, but I was wondering if they can be problematic or a piece of cake?

If they work fine at 1080p, that would sure simplify keeping the tv room quiet and uncluttered. Plus I wouldn't need to get a separate frontend box, I could just run the tv off the combined FE/BE in the other room with a remote extender. Thanks.

Im using 1080p over a 10 metre hdmi to hdmi, a hdmi bullet and a 3 meter DVI to hdmi cable, so thats 13 meters (42 feet) in total and it works fine.

A HDMI bullet is a passive adaptor that lets you plug 2 hdmi cables together.

Its probably just called a male to male or female to female adaptor, but im not sure which end they call which.
