Cecil/Dale: I don't know whether this is the right forum, but if it's not, my apologies, and please move to where more appropriate.

Friends:

I noticed this post on avsforum, and thought some might be interested.
Keep in mind this was current news at the beginning of July, 2005.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Code for the Fusion 3 Gold (with QAM and QAM-T options) was just put
into kernel 2.6.13-rc2-mm1 .

The AverTV HDA180 apparently just gained support too!!! That's right
folks, the commoditization of HDTV cards on Linux has begun.

There is support for the BBTI Air2PC card with LGDT3303 VSB/QAM
Frontend (LG 5th Gen Chipset)

Some preliminary support for the ATI HDTV Wonder has been announced
on the v4l and dvb mailing lists.

Sorry if some of this is months out of date, but hopefully it will help a few
others.
