I noticed this earlier this week; on Sunday my "scheduled recordings" lineup wasn't including the Wednesday showing of the "Daily Show." Then, on Monday, the Wednesday showing was in the list, but not Thursday.

Sure enough, there's a small clump of "NO DATA" entries in most (but not all) channels, right around 11PM Eastern time. And this small clump keeps moving forward, so now (on Wednesday) the NO DATA clump is on Saturday.

Is anyone else seeing this from Zap2It? Any ideas on how best to fix it?

Thank you.

I saw it on my box for awhile, but ignoring it turned out to be a good solution. It fixed itself after a week or so. Mebbe yours will too. The only thing I can think of is to do something to dump all your future schedules and reload them from scratch. Not sure how to do that but I'm sure there's a way.

Hi ceenvee703,

I would try mythtv-setup, no to first question and yes to second question (dump the current data) esc out and run mythfilldatabase to reload from zap2it.

Also check your refill cycle (I forget which setup menu), and kill the one in /etc/cron.daily/ so as not to pester the hand that shares with us all.

Good luck
Mike

Thanks liv2cod and mjl for your advice. I may give it a few more days to see if it works out on its own, but so far it's still there. Otherwise I'll rerun mythtv-setup (and yes, I've set mythfilldatabase to run less often and more randomly).

My myth box does that about once every other week or so. It's weird because it's for a 24 hour period starting tonight at midnight until tomorrow at midnight. Another weird thing is that it only does that for the analog channels, all HD channels still keep all their data. If I wait until tomorrow morning (mythfill runs at about 6:00am) then it will be fine for tomorrow. I can stop the backend and run mythfilldatabase manually, but it will get the info tomorrow morning.

Are you using EIT for you hd channels?
This almost sounds like a bug in mythtv related to HD and EIT
