You cannot. The testing of the next release is a closed process.

Is there anyway to upgrade the kernel on knoppmyth without fubaring everything? I'm having problems with HD3000 card...can't get it to scan and find channels with DVB drivers. I've followed the many guides and no work..

..like..
http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... 3000_HOWTO

I wanted to try and load up 2.6.13.3 and see if I have better luck or if my card might be fu'ed...

thnx..

the hd3000 works fine with R5A16 there is no need to upgrade the kernel.

First off, wanting isn't going to get you anywhere. Second off, acting like a child isn't going to get you anywhere. Third, KnoppMyth beta testing has NEVER been an open process. I choose the people I want to test. With a small development team, I don't want to hand hold folks during the testing cycle. Fourth, I too can act like a child. My distro, my rules. :P

Surely you're not saying that I don't share? Do you know how many late nights I spend working on KnoppMyth? Just because the testing phase isn't open doesn't mean I don't share. It is a democratic process truly, however the buck stops here (period). If you ever want to be invited to test, I suggest you stop trying to get under my skin.

What do you need a new kernel for?
What problems are you having?
If you list your problems you may discover that there is more than one way to skin a cat. Alpha and Beta versions may cause more disruption than solution anyway.

Are you still having trouble with wireless? What else?
I cured all my wireless problems by reverting to an older version of ndiswrapper.

Yes, we are the same. Aren't there two sides to every coin?
