I had a box running R5A26 with no problems. Recently, without me making any changes to lirc or the config files, mythtv has stopped responding to the remote.

I have ircmd and irxevent lines in the file, and those still work, but myth won't respond at all. If I plug in a keyboard and press an arrow key, the selection changes, so I know that it has the focus. Any idea what went wrong?

Check that your /home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc hasn't changed or disappeared and make sure that /home/mythtv/.lircrc is a symlink to it.
