Greetings,

Is there a plugin that will speed up the replay of recorded shows? After the commercials are gone, is there a way to make a 42 minute show play in 30 or 35 minutes? Or drop every nth frame to speed it up just a little bit. I don't mind the audio distortions that come with speeding things up.

Thanks,

~ryan

Maybe you should read the manual?

Press the 'A' key on your keyboard while watching a show. Then right/left to speed up/down the playback.

No plugin required. This is called timestretch which by default can be activated by pressing 'A' and then the left and right arrows to change the speed. The audio pitch is adjusted so that it doesn't sound like chipmonks.

And how is this done via remote?

Thanks

If you map one of your remote keys to 'A' otherwise, just enter the menu ('M'), scroll down until you get to ttimestretch and select a faster speed.

Via the "Menu" selection on your remote.
Then "Adjust Time Stretch".

On the Hauppage remote there is a "Menu" key......

YMMV
