I'm trying to update to the latest CVS mythburn and getting this error:

Quote:
[root@localhost mythburn]# cvs update
cvs [update aborted]: connect to cvs.sf.net(66.35.250.207):2401 failed: Connection timed out

Anyone know whats going on?[/quote]

I was getting an error trying to access it the other day too. It was giving me a "no route to host" error though.

Not sure if the CVS was removed for Mythburn but this is replacing it:

I think mythburn now lives in MythTV's source repository:

svn co http://svn.mythtv.org/svn/trunk/mytharchive/mythburn

I don't know about the other guy but I have a program that I really need to archive off to dvd-video before I upgrade my system again. Just in case. It's my gf's graduation that I recorded off of public access and it's the only copy I have. :( I used mythburn once in the past sucessfully, but I don't know if that was on r5a30 which I'm on right now.

I understand that mythburn is being replaced with mytharchive, however current stable Mythtv .19 does not support mytharchive, so all users who are not using SVN Mythtv are left out in the dark.

I have a few old mythburn-cvs directories on my computer, if people are desperate. Can probably tar them up and put them on the Wiki?

But I don't see the problem. Recent versions of KnoppMyth have mythburn in them, and they mostly work. If they don't work for you, then there are manual repairs to do, same as before?

Try
Code:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@mythburn.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mythburn checkout mythburn
