transcoding in KnoppMyth R5D1?

Post subject:  transcoding in KnoppMyth R5D1?
I tried to use the lossless transcode to remove commercials on Labor Day.

I followed the directions at:

I have chosen a default recording profile and set it to lossless mpeg2.
I checked to see that the commercial flagging points were in the editing timeline.
I clicked TRANSCODE NOW and the transcode started within 1 minute.
The backend logs report that the transcode fails. :(
I've tried 3 times with the same results.

Has anyone had success transcoding in R5D1?

Does anyone know how far along the Myth SVN trac the R5D1 release is? Is it newer than the 0.19.1 fixes?
