I have a boatload of pix that I now nfs mount into the image gallery subdirectory. I love the slideshow and "random" options in the menu. But, for me, they're not random at all. The system simply shows one pic after another in the order in which they are stored in each subdirectory. Once each photo in a directory is shown, it jumps to the next directory. Is there anything I can configure to randomize this? Thanks, Abs. |

Maybe this helps, as it was the problem I ran into. In the image gallery I was always selecting the "Slideshow" button to start the slideshow, when you really need to click the "Random" button. I had originally thought that the "Random" button selected how the slideshow would act, but it actually starts the slideshow in random mode. At least this is how it works in the "Sleek" theme. |
