I would add at least 256 more of memory then to your system. The reason I have not done that much in mine is because I am retiring my backend system soon. I am just waiting on my dual core Opteron processor to arrive

Hi, I got R5e50 with a pvr-350 using tv-out and everything running perfectly. The only things i got is that at every 2 days mythtv comes very slow at the point that we think it is freeze but it is not. I need to reboot everytime!! So i'm sure the problem aren't hardware, what can it be? Thanks, Christian |

How much memory to you have in your system? It is possible that you are swapping. I had issues with my system using 256 MB of memory in R5D1 after a few days. Rebooting would always clear it up. After adding 128MB more, the performance lag went away. |
