| Post subject: | Live TV interrupts recordings |
If a show is recording and I'm in the menu, going to livetv causes myth to change to whatever channel i was previously watching OR it will stay on the current channel and change to that channel anyways causing my cablebox's OSD to pop up. This really screws up recordings. How do i get it to not change the channel when i go into livetv?? Also, my time is off by 3 hours but my guide is correct at telling me what is on. I tried using ntpdate but that command isn't installed or something. What is the best way to get my time back in sync? I'm using R5E5. PVR-350 Motorola 6200 STB controlled by firewire |

There should be a setting in your STB setup menu about how long the OSD is displayed. Ususally if you set it to 0, the STB Now & Next for the channel should not appear. As for the ntpupdate, you will probably have to sun that as root. Bruce S. ETA:ntpupdate info. |
