No need. You can get it off the CD. Search the wiki for instructions on using the CD as a rescue disk. Here's one: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... terInstall - Follow the rescue directions and stop at the point where you have the HD mounted (don't chroot). If you have a SATA disk rather than a PATA disk adjust accordingliy (hda -> sda). - Copy the file from the CD to your HD: Code: cp /etc/init.d/lirc /mnt/hda1/etc/init.d
- Reboot, and remove the CD. |
