Post subject:  Program info incorrect

I've been running R5E50 for a few weeks and decided to add another PVR 150 card. After adding the card and running mythtv-setup, everything worked fine except all programing info is 2 channels back. For example: If I change the channel to 73 I see the Discovery channel but the program info shows info for channel 71. I have to browse to channel 75 to get the info for what is actually showing on channel 73. I have tried different combinations of mythtv-setup and channel scans with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks, RD

Sounds like it was offset by 2 channels. In the setup for D1, I think there's a spot you can offset the start channel. There might be something similar in E50.

Sounds like he did a scan for channels and got bogus entries in the channels table. See the troubleshooting pages on the wiki for the recovery procedure.

Does the .20 myth still allow for scanning for channels even if valid datadirect info is there?

I figured that would have been prevented in the new version.

It's needed for HDTV. Besides which the general style of MythTV doesn't include protecting you from yourself. (Protecting from finger flubs and the like is different.)
