I have been reading info for a couple of days and I have searched but have not been able to find a straight answer so please forgive me if this has been asked a million times already. I have an older PC with 1Ghz+ AMD CPU, 512MB RAM and an Nvidia 5200FX Video card w/s-video out. I would like to set this up as a playback machine only hooked up to my TV so I can watch all of my DVD's ripped to ISO's and TV shows. Will an auto install of Knoppmyth do this relatively easily? I can deal with basic command line stuff and following guides but since I don't want to do the typical frontend/backend set up and record as well I have had trouble finding the right info. Any help or links to directions would be appreciated. Thanks |

Yeah, this is what MythTV does. You'll need an extra piece to be able to rip the DVDs. |
