ok...fixed it.
for some reason, i guess the markers got corrupted because running the following:

mythcommflag -f 1047_20070329123000.mpg
...solved the problem.

when editing a recording and loading the commercial markers my frontend crashes i've searched all logs timestamped with the time when this occurs. it doesn't happen will all recordings. so far, it's only happened with one. mind you, i've only been running knoppmyth for 2 days now. the commercial markers are definitely there, even though they aren't perfectly timed. i do see this error in /home/mythtv/.xsession-errors: 2007-03-29 18:28:54.619 VideoOutputXv Error: Child A was already marked as available. but, i dont think that has anything to do with this problem because i get that message whenever i watch anything. other that that, i can't see anything else odd. this is my setup: knoppmyth r5e50 asus p5pe-vm mobo (intel 865) intel celeron d 2.66 256mb ram 250gb sata asus geforce 6200 agp hauppauge pvr-150 mce any advice???? |
