Post subject:  FYI: How to change OSD theme
OK, so I'm probably the only doofus who has had this problem , but I just spent the past $#@! hour (searching this board, Google, etc.) trying to figure out how the hell one changes the OSD theme. :x

Just in case anyone else ran into this particular... um... problem :oops:, its under Setup --> TV Settings --> Playback --> Page 8.

(Please excuse the following shameless attempt to defend what remains of my ego.)

I'm really a smart guy. I promise! I have lots of degrees. I'm published. I've read Spinoza... (and kinda understood parts, too!). Why is it always the simple things that trip me up? :wink:

this would make a good sticky thread, things its taken an (hour, day, etc) to do that were right in front of my face, or that I've done before. I just went through this adding a tuner. (needed to run mythtv-setup as superuser. duh!)

Honestly though, with M$ stuff (XP at least), things work so much easier. I plan on staying away from Vista though.
