I recently upgraded and I have lost more than half the channels on my second card. Channels below 62 are snow and garbage. I think I upgraded the firmware. It has been two weeks I still can't get it to work. Any suggestions?

In my /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv I have this...

Code:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 ivtv
# options ivtv ivtv_std=0 tuner=39
# options ivtv tuner=39
options ivtv tuner=50,50
install ivtv /sbin/modprobe tuner; /sbin/modprobe msp3400; /sbin/modprobe saa7115;  /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install  ivtv
remove ivtv /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove ivtv && /sbin/modprobe -r saa7115 && /sbin/modprobe -r msp3400 && /sbin/modprobe -r tuner

dmesg | grep ivtv

Code:
ivtv:  ==================== START INIT IVTV ====================

Going on four weeks now, any help? Did I post this in the wrong place? I usually do not ask for help, but this one has me stumped.

I don't see anything obvious from what you posted. Did you try the ivtv or mythtv mailing list?

Have you shutdown your machine completely by disconnecting it from the mains, so after powring it up again to ensure it reloads the firmware?

Is there an external splitter to connect up the two inputs?
Have you checked that this is OK with the associated wiring?
Have you swapped the two connections around to show whether it's the card or the inputs?
Did you do anything systemwise just before you lost the signals on that card?

I finally got this working by editing /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv to autodetect both cards.

options ivtv tuner=-1,-1

I had 38,50 before.
