Hi, I have a problem with my mythfrontend. The black screen appear and 1 second later return to the knoppmyth menu. I have this issue with both my mac frontend and my frontend on the backend server. The machine was working great since a lot of time and i don't have change anything special. It's a R5F27 version. On my PC laptop i use mythtv player and this one is working without promblem. I'm really srew up with this problem. Maybe there is something with the databse. This is the error message when i start the mythtv from the command line: Code: sh-3.1$ mythtv

Some things to check: What is the date/time on your KM system? Do you have program listings? Did you change your Video sources and/or Input connections in MythTV? (double-check that they are as you expect) What do your logs indicate regarding the latest mythfilldatabase? |

Hi slowtolearn The date time is ok. The program listing is ok i'm using a broadcasted guide data. I tried to remove capture card, data source, an input connection yesterday without success. No error on mythfilldatabase. Do you want some logs? Thanks for trying to figured out. Bob |

Hi, I read the link you specified carefully and i tried different solution. Still no go. After i have a look the log and see an uncommon error. So i made a repair database as explained in the knoppmythwiki and my system is back in business. Thanks for your help slowtolearn Bob
