Before the question start piling in... About a week. I have to button up a few items and the testers have to kick the tires.

Please, no rush. And again thanks to you, the testers, those who give such great help here on the boards, and anyone else I might be forgetting in my haste.

And even if it's longer, so be it. I think we're all big fans of how well tested the releases always are -- Always worth the wait!! Am I getting the impression that you,re working on a .21-based release?

I guess an obvious question would be:
Does Myth 0.21 == KnoppMyth R6? i.e. is this a convergence point? Or will there be an inerim R5 release to include Myth .21 without the other R6 features?
I'm not asking when, "are we there yet", etc.. Just "where are we going?". And I'm enjoying the ride..... Like I tell my kids, "look out the van window, and enjoy New York State in Hi Def!"
(Or Pennsylvania, or wherever we're driving through...)

I think it's safe to say that the upcoming release will include MythTV 0.21-fixes but will not be R6. Beyond that you'll have to wait for Cecil to comment or announce the release.

The next release won't be R6. However, some of the R6 feature requests have been added to it.

That's probably a good strategy. Too many variables means a lot of chaos, and it's hard to troubleshoot when something doesn't work like it did before.

I better start compiling all my custom scripts that need to be ported over now :)

Can't wait for that solid mythweb flash feature in 0.21..

As the author of the Mythwebflash included in previous knoppmyth releases, I agree...

Although the one in 0.21 is disabled by default, hopefully Cecil will enable it for the next release.
