just switched to time-warner from directv. I had a serial to usb setup working on my directv stb but the usb on the pioneer bd-v1000 doesnt appear to work.
I have googled all over and have found nothing related to this stb and myth/lirc. I did find something about the bd-v1100 but those instructions didn't work at all.
someone somewhere has to have this setup working..right??? please??? Not being able to autochange the channels makes my myth box almost useless and I have no clue how to make this work.

any info/help would be greatly appreciated.

There are instructions on the MythTV wiki on Dish/Bellvue boxes and blastering... Don't know if those were the ones you tried.

Nope. Will the Dish instructions work for any STB if I have the correct config for the remote? I didn't see a config for my remote on the lirc site either (but I should be able to use irw to make my own right?)

This is the link I tried:

I know that when I was trying to get the serial to usb working on my directv box I just googled for the model of the STB and mythtv and got easy instructions to set it up. I'm beginning to regret switching for a few HD channels already.
