In r5f27 / 0.20 the system would attempt to automatically decide if the show being played was progressive scan or deinterlaced. Unfortunately, it was often confused and made the wrong choice for many of my recordings that came from digital transmissions. Does anyone know if R5.5 / 0.21 still attempts to automatically decide if deinterlacing is required? I am hoping that the answer is no, but I noticed that the "videoscan" option is still there...
