My current set up is hda3=/media/hda3 200gb sda1=/myth 700gb I /media/hda3/tv added to my storage group under default. Is there a way change /myth to hda3, add sda1 to the storage goup as /media/sda1 and not lose any recordings. Basically will myth know to look at both folders for shows. Rkshack |

If you then add additional directories to a storage group, the system is flexible enough to check all Storage Groups for a file before deciding that it can't be found, which means that you can use the mv command from the Unix command line to arrange files however you'd like. So, according to the official documentation, it seems like you should be fine. I, personally, have never tested it. I am a little unclear as to your intent: are you just moving sda1 to a different mount point? At the absolute worst, you'd need to do a relatively minor SQL manipulation. However, according to the documentation, you should not need to do so. |
