I have recently installed R5.5 and added a third tuner to my BE/FE machine. I have a tuner selection problem which I have not seen on previous incarnations of my hardware with KnoppMyth, here are the details. I have one remote FE with no tuners and a BE/FE which has 3 physical tuners: 1) Nova-S 2) Nova-T 3) Nova-T each of which has 5 virtual tuners giving a total of 15. My problem is when no tuners are in use and one machine grabs a tuner it takes virtual tuner #15 which is linked to physical tuner #3. When the other machine requests a tuner it gets virtual tuner #14 which is also physical tuner #3. The result is that the second machine to go to live TV can only get the channels on the currently locked DVB stream unless you switch to another tuner manually. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem or which option I have accidentally enabled for this to start happening. Thanks, Jim. |

I know that: Setup -> TV Settings -> General (Basic) has a couple options that sound in this ballpark: - Avoid conflicts between live TV and scheduled shows - Allow live TV to move scheduled shows but I don't know if these will fix your issue. Perhaps you could tell it to prefer tuners 1, 6, and 11 in setup. I know you can tell an individual recording to prefer a certain capture card. Perhaps you can do some sql to simply delete tuners 2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10,12,13,14,15? |
