Trouble deleting

Post subject:  Trouble deleting
Hey all,

I keep selecting recorded programs and choosing delete, but they just will not delete. It just disappears from the list when I "delete" then if I wait a bit or go out of recordings and back in, the file is STILL there! It's getting frustrating as there are some junk programs I don't want to keep.

Has anybody else had this problem? Any ideas on what I can look for to fix it?

This happened to me with some recordings that I archived on one machine and restored to another. The "root" cause of my problem was that the files all had "root" group and ownership instead of "mythtv" ownership. Changing them to "mythtv" made the deletes work again.
