A new channel has been added in my area.

I tried every parameter with mythfilldatabase to make it add this channel to my listing with no luck.

mythfilldatabase --refresh-all
mythfilldatabase --do-channel-update
mythfilldatabase --sourceid 4

The channel is enabled in Schedule Direct.

I created a new source (source #2) in MythSetup with the same SD account and the channel did show up!

I even tried to insert a new record in the "channel" table in the database by copying the source#2 record. (I changed chanid, sourceid according to the source #1) and then, I run mythfilldatabase --refresh-all again, but it didn't work. I can see the channel is the GUIDE, but it says NO DATA

I could drop my old source and create a new one, but I would have to re-create all recordings.

Is there a solution for this little issue?

Thx

I had to drop and recreate my lineup on SD before mythfilldatabase picked it up.

I've never used it before, but you might want to try the --manual option

Quote:
--manual

Run in manual channel configuration mode. This will ask you questions about every channel.

thx guys..
I tried the --manual option but it didn't work.

I had to recreate the lineup to make it work. It's exactly what I wanted to avoid but it seems I had no choice.

I'm not sure what you mean by "re-create all recordings". Are you saying that your existing recordings (shows) need to be re-added to the database? Or that your existing recording schedules for future shows need to be recreated? Or something else? Thanks for clarifying.

Your 2nd option is correct. I had to recreate all my recording schedules for future shows.

I didn't loose my existing recordings.

Sorry for the confusion.
I wish I could speak/write english fluently. It will help a lots in several scenarios.

I guess I was unclear, sorry. I simply removed my lineup on the Schedules Direct website, then re-added it. Nothing in mythtv-setup, no recording schedules lost, all performed on SD's site.
