Is there a way to tell by Filename which tuner a capture came from in the storage groups? In the past when I would capture files across my various tuners you could look at the filename and tell which tuner it came from. Each tuner 1-4 would display a different name associate with the tuner and the channel Like 1 (Tuner) 122 (Channel) _ then Date and time of capture. mpg Now I see "65" (seems to be schedule source) 122(Channel)_ date and time of capture.mpg What I am wondering is there a naming convention for this? 85% of my captures are on Tuner 1 and 2. but in my storage groups I only see like above and ones like 74417_date and time of capture.mpg. What I am trying to do is determine an easy way to see if my Storage groups are working as intended. TIA. Edited:01/12/09 Confirm "65" is my schedules direct source. One item to notice. I use Dish Network for a source and some channels are 4 digit channels The 4 digit channel number is added to 65_ _ _ as follows. If I have a recording on channel 8672 then that would be displayed as 73672_date and time.mpg. It didn't really answer my initial Question, but I thought it might be helpful to others to write up what I had found. |
