I just added 4 disks into the default storage group. In the information center though it groups them into two and only displays the capacity of one of them in each group.

MythTV Drive #1
Directories:
mythserver:/myth1/tv
mythserver:/myth3/tv
149GB Total

MythTV Drive #2
Direcories:
mythserver:/myth2/tv
mythserver:/myth4/tv
153GB Total

Total Disk Space
302GB

actually each directory should be around 150GB so the total should be close to 600GB not 300GB is this just a problem with the display?

/myth1/tv
/myth2/tv
/myth3/tv
/myth4/tv

are each on a dedicated 160GB drive.

There was a documented problem with Storage Groups I was reading about over on Mythtv

It has to do with adding several same sized disks empty disks and the storage groups only picking them up like referenced here.

As I remember the workaround was something like getting some material saved on a disk and then adding the next one. even moving some material from one disk to another to as they are added to get the Storage groups working correctly.

I have confirmed this issue as well. Once there is data written to the drives making them different sizes, then they will show up in the mythweb status screen. Just a small glitch with mythweb.

Would that also apply to the information center on the console?

Yes, this affects the Information Center --> System Status screen as well. Once you start recording TV programs to the various drives, the System Status and Mythweb status will show the space correctly.
