| Post subject: | Renaming a TV show |
How hard would it be to change the name of a show as it shows up in the "Watch Recordings" menu? Is it doable from Webmin? I can only find two tables with "title" in it, "recorded" and "recordedprogram". Would changing the "title" field in one of these do what I want, or is it likely to hose things? |

From the Watch Recordings Menu, if you right arrow on the file, there is a selection called Recording Options. Under that is Change Recording title. You can edit a recording name there. hth |

Wow! Thanks bigbro! Was I over thinking this one or what! I guess I need to do a lot more menu browsing. Its amazing what is buried in there. Thanks again! |

For the record, changing recorded.title also works. I used this recently to do a quick bulk rename on all shows in a series. |
