| Post subject: | Mythvodka - a replacement for Mythstream? |
At present I have R5.5 running with Mythstream (which was installed by default in R5.5). I have not installed Mythvodka yet. Is the purpose of Mythvodka primarily for Hulu and does it also perform the streaming functions that Mythstream does? At this time, I'm not interested in connecting to Hulu and fighting the weekly Hulu battles. So, if I don't care about Hulu, does the Mythvodka plugin do a better job of streaming the vidoe/audio streams that Mythstream does? If I were to add Mythvodka, would I need to remove Mythstream? You don't need to remove MythStream. I'll probably terminate MythVodka in the future. |

Bottom line question (for anyone who knows): Is it worth it to add Mythvodka to R5.5? Will I get better performance or more choices than I have with Myhtstream? Cheers! Eric |
