Dunno how many folks out there know about this (I've been using KM for 5+ years and just found it myself), but I wanted to share. Bring up mythweb on your MBE and click 'statistics' to see some interesting data about your recordings over the lifetime of your your db such as # of shows/episodes recorded, dates, total recorded hours, etc. You can also see the data broken down by show, # of episodes of that show, etc.

Kind cool :)

yea that is pretty cool
especially since you can tune the view for what you want to see as far as time frame and top numbers.

All I can say is shhh!

That is one of those usage tracking stats that someone could find useful if they found a way to market it.

Maybe that is why the Myth folks or Cecil put that in there.
You know like Tivo, who swore they would never track stats and now you see little bits like "According to blah, blah, Survivor is the most often pvr'd show out there...."

Just kidding.

This was added to Mythweb a few versions back. May be .19

I check my stats every so often........

Here what I currently have:
Code:
Number of shows: 223
Number of episodes: 12881
First recording: Saturday July 23rd, 2005
Last recording: Tuesday April 14th, 2009
Total Running Time: 3 years 8 months 21 days 13 hrs 14 mins
Total Recorded: 1 year 2 months 26 days 21 hrs 32 mins
Percent of time spent recording: 33%

I would be interested to see what others look like.

BTW I record much more than I watch :)

Not as much as I thought there would be. Using Myth as much as we do, I just assumed the stats would be much higher.

This is not the first iteration of the database, that was lost with a logical volume meltdown
