Post subject:  MythArchive in 5.5 - how to select select recordings?

Last weekend I tried to use MythArchive for the first time since upgrading to r5.5? I used to go through the Optical Discs menu to mytharchive to select recordings, however under my install of 5.5 I can export previously selected recordings but I can't select new recordings.
Has MythArchive changed in 5.5 or does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Paul

Is it supposed to work the same as previous versions?

Hi,

In version 0.20, you would select the recordings from a menu option first before entering the archive plugin. In version 0.21 you select the recordings in the archive plugin itself, i think it is on the screen after selecting the type of dvd archive.

Here is a google translated (from japanese) page
http://translate.google.com/translate?p ... ry_state0=

On archiving.

Hope this helps.

That looks like where I was going wrong, I'll try it tonight.

Hi,

Just some extra notes on this version of mytharchive.

In 0.21, you can customise the screen shots used in the archive. When ever i have tried this, the frontend has crashed. Using themes with screen shots is fine, just don't customise them.

Customising the screen shot is done in the same section as selecting the encoding profile, and adjusting the order. Also note that the size estimate of the file after encoding has never been that reliable.

Bigb.
