Is there an option to add overscan to playback to avoid an annoying horizontal line of "static" in my PVR-250 captures? I've only found options to move the entire mythtv UI by x pixels which totally screws up the GUI for everything else. I'm interested in just tweaking the playback of captures. Have a look at this youtube video. This is from a capture. It's choppy because it's been xvidcapped through vnc and it's also just a little preview video from mythfront. You can clearly see the lines that I'm seeing.

Note this was originally posted in another thread.

There are vertical/horizontal scaling and displacement options in the Playback options. They should do it for you without effecting the GUI.

Specifically:

Setup -> TV Settings -> Playback
Hit next to go to the 2nd page.
Set Vertical Scaling. It is a percentage, not pixels, so you probably want a very low value, like 1.

Or if you have a display that natively matches the broadcast/capture dimensions, you may want to just shift it up a pixel so that there are no rescaling artefacts.
