My Hauppauge PVR500 was causing the keyboard to freeze up on R6. That being said I would like to backtrack to Release 5.5 to determine if the PVR500 is boogered up. I'm pretty sure that I have used R5.5 successfully with the PVR500 on a Dell Poweredge 1600SC.

I'm not sure if I should expect to be able to download Schedules Direct data, however, that being said, if the install works, then I should be able to watch TV through the cable tuner.

As of this posting's date. Which versions work with Schedules Direct? [Edit] Which versions will work with SATA drives? Thank you.

With R5.5 I ran schedulesdirect just fine. 5.5 is 0.21-fixes based. I'm pretty sure I also ran schedulesdirect with myth 0.20.2 as well (R5F27).

You should be good with SATA on R5.5.
